She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Smathers and Kathryn Smathers; her husband Bernard "Pat" E. Cruit; her siblings, Arlene Lauderback and Robert Smathers; her great grandchildren, Madoxx and Lenoxx; and her niece Tammy Lauderback.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Parsons (Dean) of Champions Gate, Bernie Cruit (Paula) of Lancaster and Christofer Cruit (Angie) of Lancaster; her grandchildren, Andrew Parsons (Emilia), Ashton Miranda (Max), Brayden Cruit, Blayc Cruit, Brent Cruit, Cody Balthaser, Lindsey Williams, Kevin Cruit and Mathew Cruit (Destiny); and her great grandchildren, Beverly, Isabelle Parsons, Luke, Benjamin Miranda, Jillian, Leeland Balthaser, Jameson Christofer and Brant Lee Cruit. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
