He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt Thompson and Edna Thompson; his wife Jackie Thompson; and his siblings, Mack Thompson, Frank Thompson, Sue Staten, Gene Kemerer and JoAnn Carpenter.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Jarvis (Earl) and BJ Thompson (Laurissa); his grandchildren, Adam Jarvis (Scarlet), Kristina Thompson (Noah), Taylor Thompson, Luke Thompson, Haylee Shahan and Keyan Shahan; his great grandchildren, Ella, Sadie, Meredith and Hadley Jarvis; his stepchildren, Dino Frease (Tina), Chris Frease (Tonia) and Sheri Frease; and his siblings, Art Thompson and Libby Enisco. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home - Lancaster (405 N Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130).
