He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl F. Shaffer and Ruth E. Shaffer Sr. (Hoagland). He is survived by: his wife Wilma Lea Shaffer (Young); his sons, Mathew Reed (Georgie) and Lee Reed (Danielle); his grandchildren, Zach (Kinzie), Breanna (Leo), Coleton and Alexis; his great grandchildren, Kaylee and Kaden; his cousin John Jack Shaeffer (Pauline); and his pets, Bruno, Peter, Pitter and Bootsie.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sheridan Funeral Home (222 S Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
