We announce the death of Carrie Sue Wilson of Lancaster, Ohio, who passed away on October 9, 2026, at the age of 77. Carrie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Carrie will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Carrie’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Spaulding and Evelene Spaulding; and her siblings, Joyce Varney and Otis Spaulding. She is survived by: her siblings, Betty Mechling of Amanda, Barbara Kegler of Pataskala, Bessie Black of Marengo, William Spaulding (Daphene) of Crum, WV, Flem Spaulding (Stella) of Hocking Hills and Larry Spaulding (Truneda) of Vinton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Spaulding Cemetery (827 Mudlick Rd, Kermit, WV 25674).
