Clarence E. Bope Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clarence E. Bope Jr. of Lancaster, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarance Sr. Bope and Alice Mae Bope; his sisters, Betty Cotterman (Richard) and Alice Oiler (Gary); his aunt Helen Clark; and his niece Sabrina Cotterman.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Bope; his children, Scott Bope (Rosie) and Misty Goodyear (Paul); his siblings, Paul Bope (Connie) and Mary Stanton (Greg); his grandchildren, Jessica Riggan (Chris), Kaleb Goodyear (Kailynn), Trystan Goodyear, Jayden Goodyear, Josephine Goodyear, Nickolus Goodyear, Corey Putman (Brittney), Jennifer Scott (Keith) and Ashley Cordle (Adam); and his great grandchildren, Mark Putman, Gracie Scott, Andrew Scott, Zach Riggan and Lincoln Goodyear. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home - Lancaster (405 N Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home (405 N Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130).
