He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Fier and Martha Fier; and his brother Clint Fier. He is survived by: his son Scott Fier, Jr. (Hallie); his stepchildren, Jeremy Cone, Justin Cone and Heidi Perkins (Craig) of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Miles Alexander Fier, Emily Perkins, Korida Cone, Jax Cone and Delilah Cone; and his sisters, Cevan Sobeck of Canton and Claudia Bruegmann (Ens) of Germany. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
