He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Perry Sr. and Madge Mae Marcum; his sister Sheila Dean Perry; his stepdaughter Jeanetta Mae Phillips; his parents-in-law, Melba Mae Knapp (Hawkins) and Bobbygene Lanning; his son-in-law Darrell Raymond Webb Jr.; and his stepgranddaughter Jessica Rae Thum.

He is survived by: his wife Roberta Jean Perry; his daughters, Michelle Marie Thum (Marc) and Tamica Lynn Webb (Robert); his grandchildren, Levi (Tammy), Lexi (Lucas), Zachariah, Kyle (Tiffany), Cory, Rebecca (Justin) and Trinity; his great grandchildren, Aurora Dawn Marie, Wylan Joseph and Bennett Andrew; his siblings, Virgil Perry Jr. (Darla), Bobby Sherman Perry and Connie Sue Perry; and his sister-in-law Pamela Kay Montgomery. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
