He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bale and Shirley Bale; his siblings, Clare, Rich Bale, Diane Landers and Barbara Berg Garcia; and his niece Jennifer McKinney (Bale).

He is survived by: his children, Kathy, Mechelle, Dionne, Allen, Austin, Alexis and Andrew; his siblings, Donald Bale (Marty) and Donita MacDonald; and his significant other Mary. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
