We bid farewell to Don Nutter of Lancaster, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 7, 2025 at the age of 84. Don touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Don departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Don. Though Don may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Presley Nutter and Lectie Nutter; and his siblings, Orene Sandy, Lois Nutter, Rosalie Davis and Retta Sharp.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth "Bammy" Nutter; his grandchildren, Jordan Johnson, Colin Libby, Jacob Nutter and Joshua Nutter; and his brother Marvin Nutter (Deborah). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home - Lancaster (405 N Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130). A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM.
