She was predeceased by: her parents, Arby Daniel and Etta Daniel; her husband John Wallace Rice; and her siblings, Mitchell Daniel, Marshall Daniel, Harmon Morris Daniel, Bruce Daniel, Murial Castle and Marie Vance.
She is survived by: her son John W. Rice, Jr. (Holly) of Lancaster, OH; her grandchildren, Alison M. Honert, Daniel Rice (Jaime), Rachel Rice and Joseph A. W. Rice (Jenny); her great grandchildren, Macauley Rice and Jordan Rice; her nephews, Tom (Carol Preston), Ed Preston, Steve (Sally Daniel), David (Ellen Daniel), Larry and Leslie Castle (Peggy Wegener); her friend Susan Reynolds; and her close friend Debbie Tucker.
