George S. Mowery Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George S. Mowery of Lancaster, Ohio, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George S. Mowery to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil J. Mowery and Verna "Ruby" Mowery; his siblings, Patricia Baker and Ralph "Emil" Mowery; and his son-in-law Bruce McCandlish.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; and his children, Melinda McCandlish (Pat Elliot) of Lancaster, LuAnne Shaeffer (Jon) of Zanesville and Jeff Mowery (Colleen) of Pickerington. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
