He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Watson, Jr. and Mary McCafferty (Willett); and his parents-in-law, Fredrick and Bertha Abel. He is survived by: his wife Debby Watson (Abel); his children, Terri Hanna (J. R. Hamilton), Paul Watson, George Watson IV, Stacy Young, Bill Young (Victoria) and Melissa Cordle (Carl); his siblings, Arleta, Pam, Trina and Jeffrey Watson; and his pet Holly. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and many, many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sheridan Funeral Home (222 S Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130).
