We announce the death of Harry Oyer of Lancaster, Ohio, who passed away on August 30, 2026, at the age of 85. Harry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar R. Oyer and Mabel Oyer (Haynes); his close friend Julie Tracey; and his siblings, Malcom Oyer, Gene Oyer, Wynona Oyer and Jim Oyer.
He is survived by: his brother Fred Oyer; and his nieces and nephews, Sheila Brown (Keith), Joetta Mulhollen (Pat), Amy Oyer, Tommy Oyer (Delores) and Barry Oyer (Cindy).
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Boyer Funeral Home (125 W 2nd St, Waverly, OH 45690). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
