She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Pekar; her parents, Sam Kousagan and Rachel Kousagan; and her brothers, Pete (Peggy) and Andrew (Sarah Kousagan).
She is survived by: her son John; her daughter-in-law Rosanne Pekar; her goddaughter Eva Marie Wolfe; her nephews, Jim (Pam) and Sam Kousagan (Mary); and her niece Melissa Kousagan.
