He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Speakman and Thelma Speakman; his siblings, Pete, Windy and Donna Mae; his grandson Cody Schwalbauch; and his nephews, Brian and Stoney Speakman.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his daughter Susan Schwalbauch (Rod Rhymer); his grandchildren, Libby Baldwin (Forrest) and Aaron Schwalbauch (Kayla); his great grandchild Rocky Schwalbauch; and his siblings, Joe Speakman (Marcia) and Judy Raymond (Frank). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, Herb's family asks that donations be made to Fairhope Rehabilitation's Pickering House (282 Sells Rd, Lancaster, OH 43130).
