He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeanie Arledge (Gene Arledge) and Ray Carter; and his mother-in-law Kenda Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Shelley; his daughter Madeline (Corbin Brigner); his sister Becky Nie (Jack Nie); his sibling's children, Mark Nie (Sarah), Sam Nie, Charlie Stephens and Sydney Stephens; his great-nephews, Cameron and Theo; his great-niece Sophia; his father-in-law Floyd Chapman (Carol); and his sister-in-law Kim Stephens (Hani). He is also survived by friends' children.
