He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Darfus and Edna Darfus (Stump); his wife Patricia Darfus; his son Brian Darfus; his grandchildren, Cheryl McKenzie, Michelle Darfus and Jerome McKenzie; and his siblings, Don Darfus and Shirley Darfus.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Clark (Jerry), Mark Darfus (Charlene), Mary Pierce (Chris), Greg Darfus (José Ayerve), Pam Friesner (Tommy Smith), Patrick Darfus (Jeana Atkinson), Julie Morgan (Kelly) and Jessica O'Rielley (J. J.); his brothers, Thomas Darfus (Elaine) and Dave Darfus (Linda); and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Darfus, Sharon Boyden (Dan), Mandie Hershberger (Bill), Dan Hyde (Patty) and George "Bud" Hyde. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.
