He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nixon and Gladys Nixon (Hill); his wife Joyce Nixon (Clark); his sisters, Margaret Carpenter and Ila Jean Nixon; and his brother-in-law Wendell Carpenter.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Anderson of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Cameron Anderson (Ally) and Taylor Anderson; his great grandchildren, Lakeleigh and Wyatt; his niece Sharon Lucus (Gary); his nephew David Carpenter; his close friend Rick Goodman of Amanda; and his caregivers, Chelsea, Amber and Dorothy.
