He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray DeLong and Faye DeLong; his parents-in-law, Raymond and Patricia Thimmes; his brother-in-law Casey Thimmes; his uncles, Gary Sutton Sr. and Mike DeLong; and his aunt Verna Mae Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne DeLong (Thimmes); his children, Jeffery Jr. DeLong (Mary), Shawn DeLong, Joshua DeLong (Amy), Kelli McMaster (Johnny) and Cory Apperson (Rebecca); and his siblings, Steve DeLong, Kathy Gossel, Lynda Campbell, Lori Brunney (Tom), Brenda Strohmeyer (Greg), Rob DeLong (Paula), Jeff Thimmes (Kim) and Todd Thimmes (Teresa). He is also survived by 17 Grandkids, 3 Great Grandkids, many nieces, nephews and close friends.
