He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Dale Glass and Esther Lucille Wilson Glass; his parents-in-law, Harold McGee Henry and Edna Mae Hanning Henry; his sister Patsy Lee Glass; his brother-in-law H. Wayne Henry; and his friend Richard Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Mae Henry Glass; his friend Janet Brown; his children, Trudi Rahn (Dennis) of Delaware, Ohio, David Glass (Cindy) of Guysville, Ohio, Catherine Blower (Mitch) of Athens, Jamie Parks (Craig Dickerson) of New Marshfield and Stacie Glass of New Marshfield; his great grandchildren, Travis Richardson, Bryan Richardson, Lacey Richardson, Logan Richardson, Connor Rahn and Emma Rahn; and his grandchildren, Emalee Glass Boston (Jacob), Letitia Glass Gillian (Scott), Anna Montle, Wyatt Blower, Laura Blower, Elizabeth Parks Netzley (Jack), Rebecca Parks McAtee (Haden), Asa Boston, Charlotte Netzley and Baby Boston.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jagers and Sons Funeral Home (24 Morris Ave, Athens, OH 45701). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Amesville Cemetery. During the Covid pandemic in 2020, they celebrated their 60th anniversary with a surprise parade of over 100 well wishers driving by their home on State Route 329 which Jimmie built.
