He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Edward H. Gamble and Marguerite; his grandparents, Walter and Hazel Singer; his brother-in-law Michael Doran; his friend Eric Morse; and his pet Foxy.

He is survived by: his wife Susan; his son Matthew A. Gamble (Erika); his grandsons, Landen and Parker; his pet Tuukka; and his brothers, Edward Jr. (Marge) and Robert (Leslie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
