John R Helm Obituary

John R Helm, born on May 8, 1949, passed away on October 30, 2026. John leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Clarke Helm and Jeanne Louise Helm (Fenner); his brother Donald Helm; and his nephew Jason Robb. He is survived by: his wife Kay Helm (Lederle); his children, Joseph Helm (Kristi) and Christina Boehmer (Mike); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Allison Helm and Ben Boehmer; and his siblings, Anne Louise "Weezie" Anderson, Virginia Jeanne "Jinny" Moore (Kevin), Geraldine Ann "Gerri" Helm and James Allan Helm (Mindy). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sheridan Funeral Home (222 S Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bernadette Church (1343 Wheeling Rd, Lancaster, OH 43130).
