He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd E. and Mary A. Householder (Stuart); his in-laws, Raymond and Mary L. Hyme; his brother Lon Householder; and his brothers-in-law, Kenny Hyme and James Skeeles.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Hyme-Householder; his children, Brett and Susan Mullen (Devon); his granddaughter Amelia Mullen; his siblings, Jeanne Bartholomew, Marilyn Baldwin (John) and Larry Householder (Donna); and his siblings-in-law, Marie Whitehead (Mike), Martha Skeeles, Mary Ann Richards (Dan), Marlene Hyme (Charles Rush), Colleen Hyme and Steven Hyme (Angie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
