He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Marlo and Belva Marlo; his son Richard A. Marlo; and his siblings, Julie Marlo and Harry "Mike" Marlo.

He is survived by: his wife Bernie Marlo; his son Larry L. Marlo (Leslie) of Laurelville; his granddaughter Madeline Marlo (Navy); and his sister-in-law Nanci Marlo of Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
