She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Singer (James Retzer) and Viola Singer; her sisters, Shirley Fisher, Dorothy Bethel (Carl) and Betty Vale (Paul); her son-in-law Jim Smith (George Hughes); and her grandson Milton Roe.

She is survived by: her children, Candy Hughes, Sharon Retzer, Jimmy Retzer, Carla Retzer, Vickey Retzer and Mark Retzer (Matt); her sister Bea Rarick (Emerson); her adoptive daughter Dottie Linehan; her grandchildren, Kelly Clark (Travis), Melissa Chuvalas (Brandon), Will Frank (Nikkie), Patrick Retzer (Sarah), Chris Hughes, Jennifer Ford (Ben), Barbara Retzer (Miranda), Michael Smith (Laura), Rosa Retzer (Steffan) and Matthew Roe; and her great grandchildren, Nathan Frank, Maggie Retzer, Kaci Frank, Bentley Paul, Trevor Clark, Parker Clark, Alice Retzer, Keegan Chuvalas, Elanor Smith and AJ Ford. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
