He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Schooley Wood; his stepsons, Keith, Jesse and Sam Shaeffer; his siblings, David C. Wood, Barbara W. Orban (Roger), Ann W. Fowler (Robert), Joseph T. Wood (Joanne), Nancy W. Hannah (Gary) and Peter F. Wood (Juliana); and his stepgranddaughter Lily. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sheridan Funeral Home (222 S Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
