She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Smith (Smith) and Elmer Smith; her husband Donald R. Carsey of Lancaster, Ohio.; her sister Helen Pever; and her great grandchild Theodore E. Carsey.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Glendenning (Jack) of Pecan Gap, Denise Riggle (Randall) of Pickerington, Ohio and Timothy Carsey (Denise) of Pleasantville, Ohio.; and her sister Evelyn Dangler (Danny) of Bluffton, Ohio.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home (436 N Broad St, Lancaster, OH 43130). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Pickering House, 282 Sells Road, Lancaster, Ohio, in Mary Lou's memory.
