She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Mears and Elizabeth Mears (Beucher); and her sister Judith Mears Strohmeyer. She is survived by: her husband Dan Emmenegger Sr.; her children, Ashleigh Armstrong (Travis), Dan Jr. Emmenegger (Iliana) and Jeff Emmenegger; her grandchildren, Oakleigh, Alexis, Trevor Armstrong, Grace, Andre, Victoria, Marcus and Adrian Emmenegger; her brother Jim Mears; and her nephew Greg Strohmeyer (Brenda, family: Karen Strohmeyer, Michelle Musselman).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sheridan Funeral Home (222 S Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130). A prayer was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bernadette Catholic Church (1343 Wheeling Rd, Lancaster, OH 43130).
