He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Rutter Jr. and Marjorie Rutter; his sister Vickie Finney; his grandparents, Oscar Rutter, Sr. and Mary Roe Rutter; his stepmother Margaret Rutter; and his grandparents, Fred and Myrtle Stiverson.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; and his siblings, Jenny Alexander (Charles), Sherry Magnuson, Dennis Rutter (Martha), Candy Irvin (Roger) and Sandy O'Toole (Steve). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
