We announce the death of Nello J DeFillippo of Lancaster, Ohio, who passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 99. Nello will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine DeFilippo (Campisa) and Joseph DeFilippo; his wife Dolores; and his daughter Rosalie DeFillippo. He is survived by: his son Joe DeFillippo (Connie) of Cincinnati, Ohio; his grandchildren, Anna Fink (Erec) of Oak Park and Michael DeFillippo (Amanda) of Bradenton, Florida; and his great grandchildren, Maxwell, Samuel, Joseph and Jamison.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sheridan Funeral Home (222 S Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the St. Mary Cemetery (1500 S Broad St, Lancaster, OH 43130).
