She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Kauffman and Helen Kauffman (Kumler). She is survived by: her daughter Donna Hochradel (Ron); her granddaughters, Molly Haynes (Rose Schneider) and Amy Holland (Jon); her stepgrandchildren, Scott Hochradel (Teresa) and Kim Yokim (Kevin); her great grandchildren, Marissa Malone (Tommy), Tyler Holland and Madalyn Holland; and her daughter Jeanne Secoy. She is also survived by several step-great-grandchildren; a special niece and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Opal's name to FAIRHOPE Hospice and The Pickering House, First United Methodist Church, Fairfield Medical Center Twig 9 and Liberty Union Alumni Scholarship Fund.
