Pamela Sweeney Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pamela Sweeney of Lancaster, Ohio, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Richard Black; her siblings, Virginia Levacy, Patrick Black and Barb Mowery (Alan Mowery); and her niece Tiffany Mowery.
She is survived by: her mother Joan Black (Reich); her children, Jessica Lawson, Chuck Milbaugh (Karle) and Tad Milbaugh (Alysen); her grandchildren, Elias, Izaiah, Charlee, Brandon and Merysa; her great grandchildren, Ellie, Emily and Zaela; her brothers, Chris Black and Mike Black (Sue); her daughters, Colleen Brinkley, Mary Ann Thimmes, Carla Tennison and Sharon Caughenbaugh; and her sister-in-law Carol Black. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sheridan Funeral Home (222 S Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at the Maple Grove Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sweeney's Pub (532 N Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130).
