She was predeceased by: her parents, James V. Hines and Ruth Ann Hines (Cordle); her husband James P. Reid; her stepmother Grace Hines; and her siblings, Mary Jo Fox and James "Smokey" Hines.

She is survived by: her children, Stacey Thimmes (Michael H.) of Lancaster and Kevin Reid (Kristy) of Minnesota; and her half-siblings, David Hines of Lancaster and Joyce Cox of Texas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
