He is survived by: his wife Nancy Sitterley; his family, Vanhydaway and PeeWee Resort; his children, Terre, Craig (Amy) and Jeff Vandervoort; and his grandchildren, David, Andrew Rader, Olivia, Nicholas, Evelyn Vandervoort, Justin and Colin Vandervoort.
Pete served on many boards including the Fairfield County American Cancer Society (15 years), for which he served several terms as President, the Lancaster Festival Board (1985-2001), and First United Methodist Church.
