With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Ann Kirby of Lancaster, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Tappan and Ruth Tappan; her husband Robert "Bob" Kirby, Sr.; her daughter Norma Jean Gaffin; her grandson Andrew Speath; and her brother Richard Tappan.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Kirby, Jr. of Sabina, John Ray Kirby (Joyce) of Lumberton, Ohio, Judith Ann Kirby of Oakhill, Wanda Fooce (Roger) of Leesburg and Nancy Kirby of Lancaster, Ohio; her grandchildren, John Allen, David Allen, Gary Hughes, Joe Cordy, Jason Furguson, Joshua Kirby, Jerimiah Kirby, Jennifer Boots, Christopher Speath, Rebecca Gaffin, John Campbell and Victoria Kirby; and her siblings, William Tappan (Nancy) of Maine and Barbara Colvin of Alabama. She is also survived by several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren.
Memorial gifts may be given to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
