He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Shaffer and Gertrude Shaffer (Frank). He is survived by: his wife Donna Shaffer; and his children, Mike Shaffer, Paula Allen (Tim), Angie Spangler (Donnie) and Matt Shaffer (Kaylie). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren; and sever nieces and nephews.
