He was predeceased by: his parents, John Berry Varney and Hattie Elizabeth Harrington Varney. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Glaab-Varney; his grandson Anthony Deglman; his sister Norma; his brother-in-law Tom McGonis; and his sibling's children, Jennifer McGonis and Mark McGonis.
