He is survived by: his wife Carol Markwood; his sister Judy Farley; his children, Bob Markwood (Trenia Kent) and Beth Meyer (Chuck); his grandchildren, Justin Markwood (Jessica), Heath Meyer (Karli), Paige Markwood, Corbin Markwood (Kelleigh Pier), Analise Markwood Schumacher and Andrew Markwood Schumacher; his great grandchildren, Rylee Meyer and Brody Meyer; Maureen Markwood (Jay).

Memorial donations may be made to the Fairfield County Foundation Officer Brett Markwood Scholarship.
