He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit McCafferty and Gertrude McCafferty (Thomas); his wife Carol; and his brother Frank McCafferty. He is survived by: his children, DeEtta Shaffer (Eugene) of Sevierville, TN, Robert Minnard Jr. (Janice) of Lancaster and Nathan Minnard (Margaret) of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Damon, Casey Shaffer, Jenifer Todd, Amanda Lee, Bradley, Lydia, Nic, Noah and Kaylee Minnard; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Morgan, Delaney, Bindi Shaffer, Sophia, Samuel Lee, Vincent Todd and Grace Wolfe; and his brothers, Lloyd Minnard (Bonnie) of Rushville, Kermit McCafferty (Julie) of Somerset, Kirk McCafferty (Lori) of Somerset, Phil McCafferty of Rushville, Richard McCafferty (Brenda) of Bremen and Jeff McCafferty (Lisa) of Rushville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
