He was predeceased by : his parents, Lewis Seimer and Bernice Seimer (Fausnaugh); and his grandparents, Andrew, Viola Seimer, Albert and Edith Fausnaugh.

He is survived by : his wife Joyce Ellen Seimer (Hoffman); his children, Amy Kaye Seimer and Bryan Lewis Seimer; his grandchildren, Dustin Michael Merritt and Chase Tyler Franklin; his great grandchildren, Adalynn, Amiah and Allyson Merritt; and his brother Neil A. Seimer. He is also survived by other family members, nieces and nephews and sister and brother in law.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home (405 N Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
