We announce the death of Scott Fries of Lancaster, Ohio, who passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 54. Scott will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Rosemary VanHousen Fries (VanHousen); his grandparents, Eva McGray, Lloyd McGray, Virginia Chase and Frank Davon; his parents-in-law, Tinnie Clelland and Jimmie Clelland, Sr.; his nephew Jimmie Leroy; and his niece Kimberly Clelland.
He is survived by: his father Alan Fries; his wife Alice Clelland Fries; his grandchildren, Tinnie Clelland (Cory Finch), Kylie Stock, Sylas Stock and Marie Stock; his daughters, Gloria Davis (Chase Davis) and Danielle Parker (Roy Holbrook); his brother Sam Fries; his sister-in-law Jessica Fries; his nephew Griffin Fries; and his cousin Charlie VanHousen.
