He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse C. Johnston and Jennie G. Johnston (Jourdan); his children, Randy Johnston and Nicole Johnston; his siblings, Anna Mae Eberly, Marjorie Miskell, J. Carl Johnston and Jerry Johnston; and his sister-in-law Helen Johnston.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Beckie Johnston of Springfield; his nieces and nephews, Carol Grasselli, Jim Greene, Don Greene (Marianne), Brenda Henwood (Rod), Blaine Miskell (Sandra), Susan Johnston and Jesse Johnston; and his friends, Mike, Melinda Miller and Bill Lantz.
