He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Carl and Helen Mills; his parents, Mae Bircher and Ralph Bircher; his parents-in-law, Kenneth Hunt and Gwendolyn Hunt (Ann); and his son Rocky V. Kern Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Paula Bircher; his son Tony Bircher (Melissa) of Corolla; his grandsons, Dalton Bircher of South Bloomfield, Kai Cofer and Bryce Bircher of Corolla; his children, Dusty DeLong of Asheville, Ohio and Amanda Antil (Curtis); his grandchildren, Megan, Jaci, Makayla Mathis and Rocky V. Kern III of Lancaster, Ohio; his great grandchildren, Max and Myles Bledsoe; and his mother-in-law Sarah Hunt (Billy Mathis) of Lancaster.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home - Lancaster (405 N Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home to help with the cost of services.
