She was predeceased by: her parents, James White and Drusie White (Stevens); her husband William Leon "Bill" Thornton; her children, David Thornton (Hollee), Dennis Thornton (Lisa), Donna Fink (Danny), Diana Arthur (Roger) and Darlene Mills; and her brothers, Richard, Ed, Sidney and Bob White.
She is survived by: her siblings, Rex White (Joyce), Mary Kraft of Marengo, Janet Watkins of Marengo and Juanita Bishop (John). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home Inc. (208 N Main St, Vinton, OH 45686). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Danville Holiness Church. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 at the Danville Cemetery.
