He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurel F. Carnahan and Opal Maye Carnahan (Grove); his former wife Arlene E. Riggenbach; his stepmother Esther; and his half-brothers, Jerry, Dale and Bruce.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Lubberts; his children, Jane Gray (Tony), Danny (Susan), Peggy Glick (Vance), Kay Humbert (Lee) and Edward; his half-sister Mary Clay; and his stepchildren, Ray Lubberts (Sue), Jalyn Whitman (John) and Dave Lubberts (Cindy). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren.
