He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Elick and Berneice Elick; his stepmother Lura Elick; his brother Bobby; his sister-in-law Joyce Elick; his sister Louanna; his brothers-in-law, Nevin "Woody" Woodside and Jerry Perry; and his son-in-law Dave Saum.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Elick (Davis) of Laurelville; his daughter Carla Saum of Lancaster; his grandson Michael Saum (Stephanie) of Utica; his great grandchildren, Lotus Saum, Lillian and Loukas; and his sister Betty Perry of McArthur.
