Gary Strous Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Strous of Laurelville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 13, 2025 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Strous to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, N. Franklin Strous and Wilma Strous (Flaningan); his grandparents, Herbert and Zola Flaningan (Pontious); and his sister-in-law Jayne Strous (Davy).
He is survived by: his wife Cherry Strous (White); his children, Stacy Strous and Heather Barkley (Josh); his grandchildren, Jordan, Milo, Liora and Lylah; and his siblings, Stephen Strous (Joyce Oriti Anderson), Tracy Strous (Julie) and Kathy Creech (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Heritage Nazarene Church (2264 Walnut Creek Pike, Circleville, OH 43113). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Nazarene Church in Gary's memory.
