Gary Strous Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Strous of Laurelville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 13, 2025 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary Strous to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, N. Franklin Strous and Wilma Strous (Flaningan); his grandparents, Herbert, Zola Flaningan (Pontious), Fred and Carroll Strous (Reid); and his sister-in-law Jayne Strous (Davy).
He is survived by: his wife Cherry Strous (White); his children, Stacy Strous and Heather Barkley (Josh); his grandchildren, Jordan, Milo, Liora and Lylah; and his siblings, Stephen Strous (Joyce Oriti Anderson), Tracy Strous (Julie) and Kathy Creech (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Nazarene Church in Gary's memory.
