She is survived by: her children, Terry Tatman, Melvenna Gentil (Leonard) and Bryan Tatman; her grandchildren, Beth Ann Roy (Zach), Angela Starner (John), Terry Tatman Jr. (Jenny), Jamie Hill, Jennifer Steele (Kevin), Jeremy (Kelley), Summer Cook (John) and Larrisa Tatman; and her sister Mary Alice "Sally" Vanlear of Verona, Virginia. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
