He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Eugene Stevens and Joyce Ann Stevens (Grey); his former life partner Karen Stevens; his brother Carl Stevens; and his granddaughter Alaina LeMasters.

He is survived by : his wife Barbara J. Stevens of Leavittsburg; his children, Carrie (Kyle LeMasters), Richard A. Stevens of Walford City, ND, Jacob (Rachael Stevens), Timothy (Courtney Hopkins Jr.) and Travis (Courtney Hopkins); his brothers, Eugene (Jamie Stevens), James Stevens of Pulaski, PA and Robert Stevens of Lowellville, OH; and his aunt Carol Lee Morris of Newell, PA.
