He is survived by: his parents, Mitchell Smith and Patricia; his grandparents, Peter Edward Smith (Deborah), Judith and Jerome Rudzewicz; and his siblings, Joseph Kairn, Daniel Kairn, Derek Nielsen, Patrick Nielsen, Andreá Luhn and Emilee Strasinger. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
